The compatible elements are:
- The xtender inverter-charger itself is available in 3 sizes: xth xtm and xts, each with many models of the 3 battery voltages 12V, 24V and 48V.
- The compatible solar chargers are the variotrack and variostring
- Acessories:
- The bsp 500 and bsp 1200. Battery Status Processor: shunt measurement to compute the SOC of lead acid batteries, shunts available in 500A or 1200A
- The bts 01 is a temperature sensor for simple temperature compensation for lead-acid batteries.
- The rcc 02 and rcc 03 are remote control centers for configuration, display, and datalogger. The remote control module (with 2m cable) enables the setting of the parameters and the display of the values measured. With the SD card it is possible to log the system data and to save and restore the parameters of the system. This module is available either for wall mounting (rcc 02), or for panel mounting (rcc 03).The xcom GSM or the xcom 4G connects your system to the Studer web portal with 4G or 3G.
- The xcom LAN connects your system to your local router, internet and the Studer web portal.
- The xcom CAN ensure communication with Lithium BMS. It can be also configured to be a communication bridge in CAN with an open protocol.
- The xcom 485i is a communication bridge for MODBUS RTU
- The xcom 232i is a communication bridge for RS232
- The ecf 01 is an external cooling fan: the use of this accessory will increase the power of the xts and the current of the vt65 to 80 A.
- The xconnect is a mounting frame for multi-xth system, supplied as a kit. The frame is equipped with DC breakers and fuses, and with DIN rail for the mounting of protection devices upstream.

- The CAB-RJ45-8-xx Communication cable for the connection between Xtenders and all external accessories. The cables are available in the following lengths: 2, 5, 10, 20 or 50m (xx for the length). For instance: one system with 3 Xtenders requires 2 cables of 2m. One cable is supplied with every accessory. However, a longer cable can be ordered when necessary.

The next3 and next1 are not compatible with xtender system. The xtender studer CAN-bus and the nx-bus must never be put together.
