Yes they have. The smartboost of the next series is automatically controlled by the system’s central processing unit, known as the Power Flow Dispatcher® our AI algorithm that coordinates the energy management of the entire system.
This feature (activated by default) allows the inverter to automatically supplement the power drawn from the grid or a genset with energy from the battery when the load demand exceeds what the AC source alone can provide. In practice, this allows for powering larger loads without having to oversize the upstream power supply. This feature is particularly useful for peak shaving or to relieve the load on a small genset.
