Can the next1 be used with a physical screen (nx interface)?

Yes! While the next1 already includes a built-in internal gateway providing out-of-the-box connectivity, it is fully compatible with the nx interface for users who prefer a physical screen. Simply connect the nx interface to the next1 via the nx bus.

Since this creates two gateways in the system, a few setup steps are required:

1. Cable the nx interface as the system gateway — only the nx interface needs to be connected to the internet (via cable or Wi-Fi).
2. Run the configuration wizard on the nx interface to set up your system.

Once the configuration is complete, the next1’s internal gateway will be automatically disabled to save power.
