variotrack, the smart charge controller for maximum battery life

The variotrack MPPT solar charger manages the power from the PV modules to recharge the batteries. It works together with the xtender or next series of inverter-chargers to build complete solar systems. It can also work alone in 12/24/48V systems for example, in a telecom system. The vario chargers have been used in standard solar systems as well in special applications (hydro, DC/DC converters, DC minigrid).

With an MPPT tracking accuracy above 99% and a European weighted conversion efficiency above 97%, the variotrack ensures that every watt produced by your PV modules is optimally used.

Automatic and efficient night stand-by for lower consumption

To save energy, when the photovoltaic voltage is low, the variotrack switches to night mode. The charger automatically wakes up when the sun starts shining and when the PV voltage goes back.

When the charger is in night mode, it consumes <1W. This feature extended battery life, reducing unnecessary consumption during periods without production.

Technical specifications

variotrack vt 65-175 solar charger

Previous models of variotrack were vt 65 and vt 80 with 145V input, those are discontinued and had not the same specifications for the voltage allowed at PV input. For those discontinued devices, please see the user manuals or datasheet named “legacy” in our download center.  The max PV voltage was added after the name for differentiation.
